A beautiful hoya that is rarely offered. Hoya mitrata has very impressive buds and flowers. The corolla leaves are white with yellowish brown tips and the corona is white with a red center. The flowers are very attractive, almost resembling teeth! The scent is soft and sweet and you can see these flowers in the fall on mature plants. The leaves are thin, green, and heavily spotted. The buds also have many spots or speckles (see picture). This hoya gets dark purple spots under the leaves, this is natural. Native to Thailand, Sumatra, and Borneo.
